The Gambia Commission for Refugees (GCR), in collaboration with The Gambia Immigration Department and the Ghana Town neighborhood, concluded a big week-long evaluation on statelessness in Brufut.
The initiative, supported by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), seeks to handle the longstanding challenges confronted by stateless people within the nation.
Ebriama Manneh, Commissioner for GCR, emphasised that the evaluation is a follow-up to suggestions from the World Refugee Forum’s govt assembly in Geneva, the place he and The Gambia’s Minister of Interior, Abdoulie Sanyang, represented the nation.
