The International Human Rights Observatory Africa (IHRO-Africa), a civil society organisation, on Friday inducted Daniel Koussou because the Chairman, Committee on Economic Diplomacy, Trade, and Investment in Nigeria.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reviews that Daniel Koussou is a philanthropist and the Chief Executive Officer of Dau-O-Gik Oil and Gas.
Dr Chimbo Obieze, Country Director, BIGWIL IHRO-Africa, throughout the induction ceremony in Lagos, stated Koussou was picked after thorough integrity investigation.
Obieze urged Koussou to imagine excessive degree of endurance, perseverance, braveness and dedication to excel, to be able to emerge profitable.
“On behalf of the Supreme Council of IHRO-Africa, below the management of His Excellency Prof. J O Oguleri, Head of Africa Mission; Dr Mariia Atrott, Secretary General; Prof. Abdu Shaffa, National Secretary and government members of BIGWIL IHRO-Africa.
“I’m honoured to induct Amb. Daniel Koussou as Chairman of the Committee on Economic Diplomacy, Trade, and Investment.
“Ambassador Koussou’s appointment is a testomony to his dedication to fostering financial progress and improvement in Africa.
“His expertise and experience in diplomacy and commerce will contribute considerably to the committee’s success.
“As Chairman, you’ll lead and coordinate efforts to advertise financial diplomacy, facilitate commerce, and appeal to funding in our area.
“Your management will advance our mission to advertise sustainable improvement and prosperity for all.
“We have full confidence in your ability to fulfill this role with excellence,”he stated.
Obieze famous that BIGWIL IHRO-Africa had made important strides in advancing human rights and empowering marginalised communities throughout Africa.
He stated the NGO’s dedication to selling peace, justice, and equality aligned with the beliefs and values of the International Human Rights Organisation and the United Nations.
“As we celebrate this moment, we recognise the challenges ahead. Defending human rights and promoting social justice requires dedication, patience, and courage,” he stated.
Also talking, Amaka Ezedioranma, an official stated IHRO-AFRICA was a global Civil Society Organisation registered, with International headquarters in Kenya, East Africa.
She stated organisation aimed to collaborate with African governments to assist the African Charter, which was unanimously adopted on the Organisation of the African Union (OAU) assembly of African Heads of state and authorities held in Kenya, June 27, 1981.
She defined that IHRO Africa seeks to interact with African governments and civil society organizations for challenge implementation and good governance.
“We focus on regional and national economic development goals for a better Africa that we propose to see, which will benefit the most vulnerable through our technical support in human rights campaign such as health, education, support, arts, culture and science,” she stated.
Responding, Koussou stated: “I’m so humbled, so honoured to have the ability to obtain this privilege of not solely serving humanity, however equally defending these which might be weak, that aren’t in a position to communicate, which might be in any type of bondage or problem.
“I excitedly settle for this and thanks.
“What we wish to obtain is to enhance the picture of Nigeria, work has begun already. We wish to present the worldwide communities that there are overwhelming alternatives in Nigeria.
“We wish to present worldwide buyers, worldwide Chief Executive Officers that Nigeria is extraordinarily protected, that we have now individuals of integrity and worry of God. We wish to ensure that this workplace is ready to empower Nigerians.
“So, this particular chapter, we will ensure adding value becomes our core message, especially in this office, we will be known for delivering significant value.”
