LG Electronics says its partnership with Clean Ace Academy is to offer free coaching for laundry service suppliers, improve their abilities and upscale their companies.
Mr Samuel Odenusi, Manager, Commercial Laundry Business, LG Electronics West Africa, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on the sidelines of a Masterclass on Friday in Lagos.
Odenusi famous that because the programme began in August, over 150 laundry service suppliers had been educated, with a purpose of reaching about 1,000 contributors in Lagos by the tip of 2024.
He added that there are plans to broaden the initiative to different states of the federation by January 2025.
Odenusi defined that the partnership was premised on the need to make sure that contributors acquired high-quality coaching.
He stated the Masterclass additionally showcased the very best tools appropriate for the laundry enterprise.
According to him, the Masterclass reinforces the consciousness of the laundry attendants to the drawback of utilizing home washer for enterprise goal.
“It is advisable to use only the commercial laundry system for commercial laundry purposes.

“Though, many people have the domestic washing machines at home; they do not have the time to operate them or iron their clothes.
“This may be because of their busy lifestyle; so they may still have to partronise laundry centres,” he stated.
According to him, LG began the enterprise of business laundry in Nigeria in 2019.
Odenusi stated, though, the model was recognized for customers electronics, it determined to enterprise into the industrial house by introducing the LG industrial laundry system into the market.
He stated that the product was launched because of a mindset shift of customers, from personally doing bulk of their laundries themselves, to patronising laundry centres.
