National Youth Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Salam Mustapha, has issued an unqualified apology to Professor of Political Science on the University of Ghana (UG), Prof. Ransford Gyampo after latest defamatory allegations towards the Senior Lecturer.
The stated defamatory feedback towards Professor Gyampo was made on the twenty eighth of October 2024 when the NPP National Youth Organizer alleged that he was utilizing the UTAG strike over Galamsey actions as a weapon to disenfranchise college students and provides the National Democratic Congress an undue benefit over the NPP within the upcoming 2024 normal elections.
Salam Mustapha additional alleged that Prof. Gyampo was utilizing his place as a lecturer to achieve sexual favours from college students in trade for good grades.
Lawyers for Professor Ransford Gyampo, subsequently issued a robust response to the unfounded allegation and demanded an apology inside 24 hours or they take authorized motion towards Salam Mustapha.
