The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has rescheduled its National Executive Committee (NEC) assembly from Oct 24 to Nov. 28.
Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi disclosed whereas studying a communique issued by the PDP Governors’ Forum on the finish of it enlarged assembly on Tuesday in Abuja.
Mohammed, who’s the chairman of the discussion board mentioned that rising from the consultative assembly of the assorted organs of the celebration, the PDP resolved that the NEC assembly initially slated for Oct. 24 has been rescheduled to Nov. 28.
He mentioned the postponement was to make sure that the celebration goes into the forthcoming Ondo gubernatorial elections of Nov. 16 with the unity and power demanded to unseat the All Progressive Congress (APC) authorities within the state.

Reiterating the necessity for unity within the face of efforts by detractors to divide the celebration, the assembly referred to as on all members to shun divisive utterances.
He urged members to shun divisive utterances that might undermine ongoing efforts at strengthening the celebration to successfully play its function because the nation’s foremost opposition, preparatory to taking up in 2027.
