Unlawful miners try and mine at Neung South Forest Reserve 



Reports point out that some unidentified unlawful miners are planning to enter and mine within the Neung South Forest Reserve, within the Tarkwa District of the Western Region. 

Eyewitnesses in close by communities have sighted three excavator machines and a washing plant parked about 700 metres away from the Forest Reserve. 

According to the experiences, the unlawful miners have mounted boundaries to limit Forestry Commission (FC) employees from accessing the Reserve.  

The unlawful miners blame the FC employees for wanting on whereas considered one of their very own was allegedly killed by the concession guards of Messrs. Kapsord Mining Limited. 

Prior to the arrival of Messrs Kapsord Mining Limited, the report confirmed that the unlawful miners dominated the world.  

However, the Messrs Kapsord Mining Limited have taken over and mounted a Security Post with their Concession Guards to guard their assigned portion.  

The safety put up mounted in keeping with the experiences, was set ablaze by unknown particular person(s) following the taking pictures incident between the concession guards and the unlawful miners across the space. 

The experiences indicated that closely constructed armed males in camouflaged navy uniform on a Toyota Pickup car have been seen about 100 metres away from the place the barricades have been mounted and drove on excessive velocity to the Reserve.
