Dr. Ismaila Ceesay, minister of data, has refuted claims that he referred to President Adama Barrow as a “clueless”chief throughout his time in opposition.
He stated that he was misquoted and emphasised that he has by no means personally attacked anybody.
“I have never said Barrow is clueless,” Dr. Ceesay stated, including “In that interview, I was analysing the state of the nation six months after the coalition government was formed. I expressed concern about the governance, stating that it seemed directionless.”
Dr. Ceesay has been vocal in his criticism of Barrow’s management model because the coalition took energy. His remarks drew important backlash, prompting him to ascertain a political occasion with different distinguished Gambians.
“I believe the media selectively quoted me, taking my comments out of context. There is no audio or evidence where I have gone personal against anyone.”
